Great location, wonderful staff, comfortable accomodations, reasonably priced - Happy we came!
The staff were pleasant and always helpful. They initally spoke Dutch to us (thinking we were Dutch by our looks, LOL) and quickly changed to English to accomodate us. Being able to rent a car from the hotel at a decent price was quite nice. Electric was also handy as we didn't see a lot of gas stations. Please put signs up indicating "rental charging spots for the rental vehicles from Chogogo". This would discourage other patrons from parking in these spots. We had to ask some people to leave the spot (parking lot seemed quite full) for our rental spot in order to charge our vehicle. Being close to a number of the northern dive sites we liked was great. Being able to walk to town for ice cream in the evenings (20 minutes each way). Being close to grocery stores and decent restaurants (walking distance). I enjoyed the lazy river a few times with my wife. I enjoyed having a kitchenette, stove, fridge (with mini freezer), most of what you'd need to cook utensil/pan wise. Note: You can ask for a microwave if they have them available (for free)! Note: Bring some salt&pepper/condiments from home as there are none. I enjoyed having a private area (balcony) where we could sit in the shade or sun by ourselves and just relax. It was good to have a place to dry out your wet bathing suits (hanging rack outside). The beds were comfortable. We asked and were able to get a blanket - which was nice at night when we set the air conditioning on low. AIR CONDITIONING was wonderful after a hot day outside. ****** Bathrooms where you can FLUSH the toilet were a blessing. ******** The flush feature should be noted or added to their website! We had to ask staff! Initially, we weren't sure even if we could flush toilet paper as many caribbean countries (ie: Dominican Republic) do not allow this and ask you to put the used toilet paper in the trash can.
People's smoke from smoking on the beach/dining area was gross. If as a hotel you must have it available, at least have it in a designated area and down wind of everyone else. I actually left the beach a couple of times because of the smoking. I had read about it prior to coming and realized the reviewer was right in complaining. There was some street noise (motorcycles etc going by which was loud at times). I don't think this is something the hotel could actually help. Just rude drivers. A clock in the hotel room on the wall would be nice. Not a big deal but a minor suggested improvement. We were on the third floor and seemed to get a fair amount of mosquitos coming in. We didn't realize it at first as they are quite small. I think they might have been coming in when we opened our patio doors or underneath the main door where there was an opening. We also found a huge cochroach a day before we left. Not a big deal but we have NO idea how it got into our bathroom. I immediately tossed it off the balcony. No other bug issues. Please note, the above would not stop me from coming back here. I'd just be more careful with my patio door opening times and maybe a towel at the base of the front door to control the issue. At the end of our stay, we asked a staff member to call a taxi for us for pick up the next morning at 6am. I think they either misunderstood or miscommunicated the time to the taxi driver. Upon returning from an adventure, we happened to see a taxi cab waiting at the front pickup area at 6pm the night before we left. We saw it was the same company and wondered if something had gone wrong. It had. We clarified with the driver that we were to leave the next day at 6 AM. He stated he was told that night. Nevertheless, he was great about it and did show up the next morning at 0545 thankfully.

All in all had a great time. Will return in June 2023. Let me know if I can make reservations direct
I would like to say thank you for a wonderful weekend. I need to comment the excellent service given by Tamara at the Front Desk. She is the best. She was very detailed oriented and very friendly. Also the bar tender at the beach bar (I think his name is Orlando??) was very friendly. The rooms are very good equipped with kitchen appliances. The bed was comfortable. LOVEDDDDD the lazy river pool and that our room 1005 was just at beginning of the pool. We did the BBQ night and had fun with the band. The food was O.K. And the service was a bid slow at the beginning but then it pick up. Good shower with hot water.
I did not like that there are not enough towels in the room. Hand towels and a wash cloths were missing. The room was constantly with sand. You have to put a rug or a mat at the porch to swipe your feed. The air-conditioning in room 1005 was not working properly, it turned off and on the whole night, making it uncomfortable to sleep. There is soap missing at the sink. The hotel is completely with 220 electricity which made it uncomfortable to plug in my 110 appliances. Need more tubs by the pool, most of the guests take the tubs and they don't return them after they use them so that another guest can use them. Did not like that there is no housekeeping service on a daily basis. The room as constantly with sand and I had to broom it 2 or three times a day.

Relaxing stay
Beaches, chairs and restaurants - very nice and peaceful Staffs are so helpful!
A little bit crowded in the morning breakfast. There are flys everywhere when having dinner. And I don’t like they play loud music at the dinner time
